spt turns one!

It is a bit hard to believe, but it is true. The spt project is one year old now! The first year has been a tremendous one indeed.

The first version of spt, version 0.0 (Albacore), was released on October 24, 2011. The current version of spt, version 0.7 (Ghost Fish), released on August 13, 2012.

Work continues today on the next release of spt, version 1.0 (yes, really version 1.0!) which will have some very welcome new features and set the groundwork for more awesome stuff to follow.
